Peeping Tom has been called many things. Stark - challenging - creepy - unsettling - sick - vile - stunning, and more besides. But what is clear is that it was ahead of its time, pretty much destroying Michael Powell's long career with its poor reviews, but since rehabilitated and praised by the likes of Martin Scorsese. A cinematic study of terror and murder, released within a few months of Psycho, but lacking the dark humour and apparent tongue in cheek of Hitchcock's murder-filled movie. This is the original British Quad poster from the film's first release - a classic image which perfectly sums up the voyeuristic threat of the serial killer with the camera. Conservation linen-backed.
