Clint's Day

For the second time in just over a decade, a film produced and directed by Clint Eastwood dominated this year's Oscars. In 1993 he won Best Director for "Unforgiven" , and this year he repeated the achievement for "Million Dollar Baby", which also won the Best Picture award, as well as Best Actress for Hillary Swank and Best Supporting Actor for Morgan Freeman.

Eastwood's career hasn't looked back since he starred in Sergio Leone's spaghetti westerns and then back in the US in "Hang 'Em High", progressing through several appearances as Dirty Harry Callahan, his directorial debut in the impressive "Play Misty for Me" and on to a string of well received movies as director as well as performer.
