Dame Barbara Windsor

We were saddened to hear of the death this week of Barbara Windsor, one of the country's best loved actors and personalities.

Her works for Charity are well documented, and for many she will always be remembered as Peggy Mitchell in EastEnders.

For film fans she left a few memorable appearances in British films in the early Sixties, and of course her nine great contributions to the much loved Carry On series.
