Farewell to Burt
7th September, 2018
Burt Reynolds has died at the age of 82, not long after beginning work on what was to be his latest comeback, in the next Quentin Tarantino movie. A former American footballer, his career had its ups and downs, but at his most popular in the 70s and 80s he was frequently top of the box office. Underrated according to some, overrated according to others, his starring roles included some big titles - including Smokey and the Bandit, Boogie Nights, and Deliverance (the only of his roles for which the poster is really collectable. Followed by our favourites - the final Rat Pack movies, the Cannonball Run (and II), in which he was having a lot of fun with regular comic sidekick, Dom DeLuise, and original Rat Packers Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr, Frank Sinatra and Shirley MacLaine).
