British director Nicolas Roeg has died at the age of 90.
Nic Roeg obituary in The Guardian
His career spanned many decades, but he's probably best remembered for a handful of unusual and thought provoking movies, including the adaptation of Daphne Du Maurier's Don't Look Now, David Bowie's best film appearance, The Man Who Fell to Earth, and the under-rated Bad Timing, with Art Garfunkel.
For collectors of original film posters, his most collectable title is his first real directorial effort, Performance, with Mick Jagger and James Fox.
