Elvis at 21
28th January, 2021
On 28th January 1956 a young Elvis Presley made his first appearance on national television. Appearing on the Dorsey Brothers Stage Show, he was just 21 and had the audience cheering with his rendition of Shake Rattle and Roll. In the same year he also made his first film, Loving You. His career may have only been 24 short years but even now, 65 years later in 2021, everyone young and old knows his name and his fans are legion. He remains one of the best-selling artistes in music history, and his catalogue of films numbers 33 (including two amazing concert footage documentaries). Love him or loathe him few would deny his influence. Click here to see some of the fabulous original vintage posters and lobby cards from the King’s films that we have in stock at the moment.
